Crafted from premium Ebonized Boxwood, they are an accurate recreation of the Chessmen used by Robert James "Bobby" Fischer when he won the World Chess Championship in 1972. This full-tournament sized Chess set features a 3.75" tall King and includes 4 Queens.  It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set. The design, quality and craftsmanship of this set is UNMATCHED by any set of Chessmen in its price range. Nothing even comes close! 

The Ebonized DGT-Enabled Reykjavik II Chessmen

The House of Staunton is proud to announce that our legendary Professional Series Chessmen are now available for the DGT Projects Electronic Sensor Board. Crafted from premium Ebonized Boxwood, they are an adaptation of a Jaques of London design from the mid-1890s. These elegant Chessmen feature broad bases with finely turned detail that is normally only found on the much more expensive House of Staunton Chessmen. This full-tournament sized Chess set features a 3.75" tall King and includes 4 Queens.  It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set.
