Dear Martin, Greetings from 'Down Under'......Australia that is! My family are keen chess players and know people in the New York group, and recommend I call. My Australian movie 'Doing Time for Patsy Cline' will open in the QUAD Cinema, Greenwich Village next Friday 3rd March 2006. It's a quality film and very entertaining, but a challenging film and provokes a lot of debate. .....I must get an audience in there who understands it...!! I'd be so grateful if you could email your New York Chess Club members the attached flier. Someome might go along, or have friends who will. (It's almost impossible to get a New York release for a movie and I can't afford traditional advertising.) We have a web site for more information about the film www.doingtimeforpatsycline.com cast and crew, crits, scene clips, forum, awards won etc. (Richard Roxburgh won AFI best actor award for his role.) You could then join the debate on the Forum in the website. The critics are cruel with these things, and too quickly dismiss them as a jumble.
