Anyone needing a room for the weekend should call the hotel and ask for Lee. Tell her you are playing in the chess tournament and she will try to work out a rate for you.
The Labor Day Open will be a 5 round, USCF rated, Swiss event. All games are played at game in 90 minutes per player. USCF membership required and available on site.
Entry Fees:
Adult $30, Youth - Senior - Military $20.
One 1/2 point bye per player per tournament, must be requested prior to start of first round.

The Tournament will be a 4 round USCF rated Open Swiss event, All games are played at game in 60 minutes. Open to civilians and military. Non military participants must pre-register. Active Duty Air Force participants are competing for a trip to the Air Force Championship and will play each other in rounds 3 and 4.
Scholastic/Non Rated Section possible if there are enough players who choose not to play in the Open Section (not eligible for Air Force Championship).
Pre-Registration:
Required No Later Than April 7th for Chess Players requiring access to Elmendorf.
