Thanks to Fabio from Italy, he made a nice set of new piece sets for ChessPartner.
Unzip the archive in the sub directory BITMAPS where you have installed ChessPartner. To select a new piece set: View -> Select Piece Set.
These sets are contributed by a customer, Lokasoft does not claim any ownership of these sets.

A few sample macro scripts to demonstrate the possibilities. The scripts are kept simple to make them easier to understand.
The analyseepd.lbs script reads a file with EPD positions, analyses each position and write the result into a new file.
The analysedatabase.lbs script demonstrates how to step through games in a database.
The analysegame.lbs script analyses the currently loaded game, when it finds moves different the moves are inserted as variation in the game. Useful as starting point for your own scripts.
The record-live-game.lbs script let you specify a PGN file which is updated after every move played. Can be used as a basis to publish live games on the internet.

For those who are using the sample macro scripts or who are using there own scripts, you may have noticed some events are not being called. This is caused by a missing type library file. To correct this simply download this file and copy it to the same directory as cp5.exe.

This application allows enabling tracing of all data send/received from ICC or FICS. Its purpose is to aid in troubleshouting ICC/FICS related problems.

When tracing is turned on all data send and received is stored in a file called TELNETTRACE.LOG. This file is stored in the current directory, usually where ChessPartner is installed. Before starting troubleshouting delete existing TELNETTRACE.LOG files.

Its also possible to turn on tracing data send and received via the auto232 player. This data is stored in the TRACEPACKET.LOG file.

Don't forget to turn of tracing when done with troubleshooting, otherwise the tracefile can become very big.

Changing the setting must be done before ChessPartner is started.
