i actually enjoyed this. a little light on substance, but interesting. the creepy music was over-done :)

It was an all right movie. I think they tried to make it seem scary.

Gotta remember: this is a documentary. I thought it was great. The creepy music was cool. It gave a whole different spin to the subject. It really added to the "conspiracy" tone of the film. I like Kasparov, and I happen to believe that he was cheated. I think there *were* some guys selecting a few important moves before the computer result was revealed. IBM was just too secretive about its logs and data and the room, etc. Too many things were weird. Any way...it's just a game right? Right? ... right? NO! It is CHESS!

I really enjoyed this film, even if Kasparov's accusations have largely been proved to be without substance. The psychological pressure that Kasparov was under during the match was intense and this film captures the mood perfectly.

I personally thought this was one of the worst documentaries I've ever seen. I was excited to see it as I am a computer scientist as well as a chess player, but it was terrible. They played up the conspiracy theory so much that it seemed ridiculous by the end of it. It was very light on details, and heavy on 'scary music'. Argh.
