Check out this review of Halo 2 for Windows Vista (exclusively), even though it's quite critical at points, I've just installed Vista myself,  so Halo2 here I come!

I've played halo 2 on Xbox, and I'm very fond of it.

I mainly player Halo on pc though, I played in a top team in Europe, we were sponsored by XFX and UbiSoft. Good times :)

Close action, the addition of duel-wielding made close-action a much more furious part of the game.

Will you be getting H2 for your pc?

Yeah, I love duel wielding!!!   I didn't like the sword at first, but now its one of my favorite!  Unfortunately my computer is advanced enough to play Halo 2, so I just have to stick to Xbox

Sadly, uni is too busy for me to get either Halo 2 for PC.  (I also have no money...)

But I play Halo:CE on my laptop, and Halo 2 on xbox live.  Too bad no one is ever on anymore.

i play halo 1 on pc,sometimes ce. i'm waiting for m/s to fix some bugs in their vista o/s before i lay down the $ for vista and halo 2. halo 1 is hands down the best fps i have ever seen(first person shooter for those who don't know). And ,unfortunately i'm in 3 clans on halo 1. The game is a good way to develop your eye-hand coordination, and relieve some stress by killing(video killing is not killing)some newbs>that's new players who are annoying.

That's because everyone is playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live.  Try it!  You'll like it!  Smile

I don't have a 360, and if I did I would spend too much time with the game.  I've played through the campaign and had fun with live.  I can still pwn with the sniper, and apparently most people can't... I played for over ten hours straight on live and only ran across two people who were any good with the sniper.  But that was a few weeks ago, so it probably isn't as easy to win online as it used to be.

The thing that bugs me is the surreal graphics.  I actually like Halo 2 better than Halo 3, both campaign and multiplayer.  Mostly because headshots were even easier in Halo 2.  Although I do like not having lock-on rocket launchers.  That made it too easy for bad players to take out people in vehicles.  I also think that the campaign was way too short in Halo 3.  It took me less than five hours to beat it on Legendary.  Nine levels is not enough.  Even when I would take the time to listen to the RvB dialogue, and find all the skulls, I still finished it too quickly.  Campaign scoring is fun, though.  I turned on every skull but black eye and played through on Legendary.  It was very hard, but I got through the first few levels like that before my friend woke up (I pulled an all-nighter) and we played live.

I do like the armour permutations in Halo 3.  My favorite is the EVA with the weird spiky helmet you get for beating the game on Legendary/finding all the skulls (I did both at the same time, so I'm not sure which you do for it).  Except for the chestplate, which I left as default.  And the Elite models look worse in Halo 3.  I play as a dino in Halo 2, but definitely not in Halo 3.

SPOILER

Sgt. Johnson should not have died.  No.  And if he had to die, it should have been in a much better, blacker way.  Say, a swarm of Brutes attacking him, bodies piling up before he finally gets hit in the back by one of those hammers... yeah.  Bungie messed up with the way they killed him off.

Yeah that lock-on was a bad move.
