I found out about this wonderful chess timer from one of my friends. When I found out that I did not need to hit any buttons and levers and only touching the metal pad to indicate that my turn is over, i was truly amazed.

This was my third chess clock.  The first just could not stand up to the fun of rowdy blitz play, and broke within weeks.  This just keeps on ticking and ticking.  Me I went with bright yellow with black buttons.  Bright yellow so I can see it quickly in the room.   Black buttons, because really, blitz needs to be a bit noisy!

5 stars!  As I said in my review of the "regular" version, this is the best clock out there IMO.  This is the "touch switch" version, which some people like and some people don't like.  The reason one might not like it, is you cannot hit the button with the piece after you make a capture.  It needs the heat of your finger to actually register.  A lot of blitz players are touchy about that, but it's no big deal to me.  I have the touch version myself and I love it.  Also it doesn't have that loud clicking noise when you hit the button (but you can set it to beep).  Really, it's just personal preference between the 2 versions, and they are both great.
