ICC Guide
An Introductory Manual for BlitzIn and the Internet Chess Club
Welcome to the Internet Chess Club (ICC). This guide teaches you how to do
some common things using BlitzIn software, which you can download
for free. Most importantly, after you connect
you need to know how to start
a game, play a game, and end
a game. You should also be able to chat with
your opponent and other people logged in and ask
for help online.
Right-clicking on the console or on the
seek graph can speed things up for you. When you
gain some confidence you might want to join an online
tournament. You can do better in tournaments by taking personalized lessons
from strong players. These and other services are available by spending chekels,
the online currency of the ICC.
Occasionally a rated game may not finish, in which case you'll end up with
an adjourned game.
