Astraware Company Policies and Guarantees

We want you to be happy with your purchases of Astraware products. We're proud of our services and guarantees, and we believe that our customers are more confident to purchase from us by being informed up-front of what to expect.

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to be completely happy with the software you purchase from Astraware!

Whenever we can, we make trial versions of our software for download from our website or through any of our affiliate and partner websites, so that you can try the software beforehand and decide whether you want to purchase it. However, we will always accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason.

We will either fully refund your purchase price (in the currency the purchase was made in, typically US Dollars), or give you a different product in exchange, as per your preference.

Please note we can only directly provide refunds on items purchased directly from us. If you have purchased from one of our partner websites such as Handango or PalmGear, then any refunds will need to be handled by them according their policy. We will happily provide any assistance we can with this.

Price Guarantee

We offer a 30 day price guarantee on every purchase made directly from us, so if you buy a product and we release a lower price or promotion for it with 30 days of your original purchase, we'll refund the difference!

Please note that we are only able to apply this to purchases made directly from our website, not from partner websites such as Handango, PalmGear, PocketGear, etc.

Privacy Policy

We at Astraware take your privacy very seriously indeed.

When you purchase one of our products, be it via our website or over the phone, we collect only enough information to allow us to charge your credit card, and make sure that we can deliver your purchases. Especially with online purchases, we understand that sometimes email doesn't always get through as expected, and so we do require a telephone number just in case. We also only retain the information necessary to provide continued support. Credit card information is not kept by Astraware.

If you buy any of our products and elect to be included on our mailing list, we may send you occasional promotions and discounts or upgrade notification emails. We keep these to a minimum, and you may of course be removed from the list at any time simply by emailing support@astraware.com and asking to be removed from the mailing list.

We will never sell, trade or otherwise distribute your details to another party.

Support and Upgrades

Support for our products is both free and unlimited to anyone using our software, for as long as we continue to sell it. Most support is done via email although we may also be contacted by telephone (+44 1782 667825) during UK office hours (9am to 5pm GMT/BST).

We will always do our utmost to reply to you within 24 hours of receiving your email if not sooner, but at very busy times it may take us a little longer. If you haven't heard from us within 3 days, it is possible that either your email or our reply failed to arrive for some reason. If you have an alternate email address then it can sometimes help to try again using the alternative address. If you don't have an alternate email address, you can contact us using our forums.

The best way to manage your registrations is by joining Club Astraware. As a member you can view your registration codes, request a resend of your registration email and easily get a new code when you change your device.

Should you change to a handheld or smartphone that has a different OS than the one you purchased your products for, we can usually transfer your registration to the equivalent on the new platform free of charge. Contact our Support Department if you need this.

Astraware is based in Europe, which can sometimes make it difficult to obtain newly released devices. You may sometimes find you have a device we've not seen before. New devices may have individual quirks which we aren't familiar with.

Software License

A purchase of an Astraware product is a license to use the product by a single user on a specific device. We allow you to transfer this to a new device, and via Club Astraware provide a method for you to make this transfer, however it is not transferable to another user. Whilst we do our utmost to provide future compatibility, we cannot guarantee that your purchase will be compatible with a new device that you purchase.

Products which we resell for other developers may have different license terms which are listed on their respective websites.

Delivery Policy

When you purchase one of more of our products, either directly from our website or through one of our partners, we will send you an electronic registration code which unlocks full functionality from the trial software.

Your registration code will arrive by email to the address provided during the purchase process within 36 hours, and typically significantly less!

Although some of our software is available on CD or card in retail shops, Astraware do not send out any physical media (such as a CD or SD card) for a purchase at this time.

If you have purchased a registration code and have not received it within 36 hours, please send an email to registrations@astraware.com letting us know as many of the details of your purchase as possible:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used when purchasing
  • The product or products you purchased
  • Which website they were purchased from and approximately when
  • Any order or reference numbers you may have received separately

As with all our support email (detailed below), if you haven't heard from us with 3 days of sending your mail, it is possible that either your email or our reply failed to arrive for some reason, and it may help to get in touch using an alternate email address.

Currencies

Astraware sets the price of each of the products in US Dollars, and the amount you pay in your own currency is calculated by your credit card handling company at the time of purchase.

Please note that all refunds, like purchases, are based on the amount paid in US Dollars. The fluctuating nature of the exchange rates may alter the end result, and this is unfortunately outside of our control.

Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions

The gift certificate ("Certificate") is issued by Astraware Limited, in accordance with the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute the entire agreement and your possession or use of this Certificate constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.

Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates expire one year from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law

Gift Certificates are not refundable.

Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. Items purchased by gift certificates, if not satisfactory, can be exchanged for comparable merchandise only. All other standard exchange policies apply.

A Certificate can only be redeemed by the holder for up to its face value.

Multiple Certificates may not be used in a single purchase.

Certificates cannot be combined with discount or promotion codes.

The holder is responsible for all taxes (including VAT), duties or fees arising out of the use of this Certificate to purchase goods.

If your transaction exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the holder must pay for the balance.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.

Astraware will have the right to request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate is redeemed through the Astraware website.

In the event a Gift Certificate code is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such Gift Certificate.
