If President George W. Bush is driven out of office—or if the Senate and House change hands next year—two men will claim the credit. And they will stand firmly in position to change the cultural destiny of America and demand the ideological spoils of victory—spoils that will include a declaration of war against those of us who believe in the Second Amendment.
If you think those two figures are Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards, you’re wrong. For gun owners, the Kerry/Edwards match-up couldn’t be worse, but the stealth power behind them is far more insidious and lethal to the future of American liberties.
Don’t look at Kerry and Edwards; look through them—and you will see political manipulators: globalist billionaire George Soros and agitprop filmmaker Michael Moore.
With only short months to go until the election, Soros and Moore are already acting like kingmakers.
Arguably violating new federal campaign laws—which his special interest money bought and paid for—Soros has dumped tens of millions from his personal fortune and leveraged more than $100 million from other radical billionaires into a shadowy political machine of enormous proportion.
All elements of that machine—from MoveOn.org, which claims to be immune from draconian campaign laws blacking out issue advertising before elections, to Americans Coming Together (ACT), which uses huge questionable “soft money” donations to seek out new voters, to a half-dozen other closely guarded groups—are controlled by a handful of far-left political operators.
Among Soros’ goals is a global U.N. gun ban, which fits in with his larger plan to diminish, weaken, and subjugate the United States as a world player, to erode our sovereignty, and to domestically erase the dominant traditional values of the American people.
While parts of the Soros Billionaire Club’s machine are highly visible, the larger campaign is on the ground, or perhaps more aptly, underground.
In a recent puff piece on Americans Coming Together, The Washington Post predicted the Soros effort would register millions of voters.
    So what is the payoff?
The director of ACT, a former organizer for the AFL-CIO and the Democratic National Committee, told The Post:
“[T]here are two kinds of donors—access donors and ideological donors. Our donors are ideological … all we can give them is the change they want, and that’s all they want.” (emphasis added)
That means your Second Amendment Freedom—your guns.     Remember, George Soros bankrolls the Million Mom March, and he ponies up the money for the predatory lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearm industry.
If Soros buys the White House, you can count on an ideological payoff. And Soros most likely won’t stop there; he will buy himself a U.S. Supreme Court, stacked with anti-gun justices who can rule against our rights for a lifetime.
The Soros nationwide voter registration targets Michael Moore’s angry, undiscerning fan club.
Moore, who tells foreign audiences that Americans are “the dumbest people on the planet,” is inciting a hate-America, hate-George Bush mob with his film, “Fahrenheit 9/11.” And that mob is being harnessed into a one-time voting block—to be further inflamed by a nationwide 500,000 DVD distribution by the Democratic National Committee in the weeks before the election.
There is only one force in America strong enough to stop them—the membership of the NRA and our supporters. But we must be as dedicated and organized and aggressive as the Soros/Moore/Kerry/Edwards machine.
For starters, we have a chance to counter Michael Moore’s lies. Now there is a new book, written by two remarkably tenacious individuals, David T. Hardy and Jason Clark.
Titled Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man, the book accurately dissects and exposes Moore’s outright lies, his deceptions, and his mass manipulation in his written work and films.     Their analysis of Moore’s anti-gun-rights film diatribe “Bowling for Columbine” is especially insightful. Remarkably, the book is put out by HarperCollins, which published Moore’s first book, Stupid White Men, and the two books are displayed side by side in bookstores.
Buying the Dave Hardy-Jason Clark book not only provides gun owners with the truth about Moore, it is a measurable act of defiance against everything Moore represents. I urge you to buy it. Get your friends to buy it. Put this book on the nation’s bestseller list. Bury Michael Moore’s lies by telling the truth.
There is an equal act of defiance we must do to beat the gun-ban crowd. We must vote. And we must get our friends and neighbors to register and vote. Make yourself responsible for getting five or 10 voters to the polls. We can reelect George W. Bush and we can elect a Second Amendment-safe Senate and House. But only if we mobilize, right now, today.
