October 20, 2007 -- "HIGH Fidelity" author Nick Hornby, in town to promote his new young adult novel, "Slam" - about a teen skateboarder who is shocked to find that he's gotten his girlfriend pregnant - says he loved the similarly themed movie "Knocked Up," which came out as he was finishing his book. "But it was too long, wasn't it?" Hornby said. "Two hours, 20 minutes? It was like the [bleep]ing 'English Patient'!"
