The cheapest one in its range with 100$ Viewsonic rebate (442$ with tax in costco online for a limited time as of Nov 2007, priced a bit less then here at the moment) 2. Excellent display, colors, clarity - am using it in my bedroom on a white wall - 70" display and 12 ft throw as a DVD, VCR and TV screen player - SVGA resolution good enough at this distance! 3. Very easy setup 4. Has good selection of video input ports (SVid, serial, video in) that allows convenient combinations (refer pt 2) 5. HD compatible Cons: 1. No zoom 2. No speakers 3. Not XGA resolution (though SVGA suffices and satisfies my purpose) 4. It is bright,1500 lumens, even with a quarter moon and stray light from inside the house. It is simple to use and it is pretty quiet. It is a great projector for the price. (I was also in time for a $100 rebate so that made the whole thing a great value.) I am not a heavy user, so this projector is perfect.
