Viewing Gift Certificate Balances

To view your Amazon.com gift certificate* balance, click the Your Account link in the top right corner of most pages of our Web site. Next, click the "View gift certificate balance" option in the Payment Settings section. Once you've signed in using the e-mail address and password associated with your Amazon.com account, we will display your remaining gift certificate funds. Unused gift certificate funds will remain in your account until the expiration date.

To use these funds, just add the items you'd like to buy to your Shopping Cart and click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be asked on the order form if you want to use the available funds toward your purchase. You do not need to enter a claim code. If the price of your order exceeds the amount remaining on your gift certificate, you can pay for the rest by credit card.

Please note that Amazon.com gift certificates differ from Borders Gift Cards. If you need help viewing your Borders Gift Card balance, click here.

*Amazon.com gift certificates are issued and sold by A2Z Gift Certificates, Inc., an Idaho corporation.

Viewing Check Balances

To view your balance of check funds on account, click the Your Account link in the top right corner of most pages of our Web site. Next, click the "View check balance" option in the Payment Settings section. Once you've signed in using the e-mail address and password associated with your Amazon.com account, we will display any check funds associated with your account.

To use these funds, just add the items you'd like to buy to your Shopping Cart and click the "Proceed to checkout" button. On the order form, indicate that you want to pay by check. If the price of your order exceeds the amount remaining on your account balance, you'll need to send us another check for the additional amount.

If you no longer want to have these funds on your account, you can request that we send you a check for the amount of your balance. Please click the "by e-mail" button on the right to send us your request.
