I'm a nursing student and this is the second edition of this book I've bought. It has a format that makes it very easy to look up drugs. I love the new feature (to me at least) of the most common side effects listed in red. I've looked at many other drug books and their formats make it harder for me to look up the drugs. I love this one and wouldn't buy any other.

I buy these for my nurses because they are the easiest to use quick reference and they have useful Pt. teaching. The information is easy to access because the entire book is alpha ordered rather than grouping drugs so they have to know the catagory to look up the drug.

This is an obsolete book at this point: I have the 2012 edition, which I use for reference. I recommend them to nurses and other professionals who need a comprehensive overview of drugs.
