Not all handmade soaps are the same. We have been working on our recipes for a long time and are now offering our "all vegetable" soaps for sale online! We've blended butters, olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, soy oil and fragrances to give you a hard soap that really lathers well and feels and smells wonderful.
All of our soaps are pretested before they are sold -- usually by me! I test them out to make sure they feel silky to me -- smell great -- and have tons of mild, cleansing lather. I like a hard bar that won't get used up too quickly. I also like lots of lather! These soaps are great! I travel with them. I give them as gifts, I give them to friends and family and now feel pretty confident that you will love them too!
Our oatmeal olive oil soap has been very popular and very well received. The same is true of our new line of handcrafted soaps. We are currently stocking the following soaps:
1. An orange swirl soap that uses orange essential oil. This is a great kitchen soap and is all natural. The orange essential oil is a natural grease cutter. I LOVE using this soap as I am an orange lover.
2. Our lavender soap uses the nicest lavender essential oil (Bulgarian Lavender) I've ever tried. It is not too strong -- just right. It sold out at our last craft show. It has lovely lavender swirls and lathers like crazy. We ALWAYS use butters in our soaps. The make the bar more expensive, but much more luxurious in my opinion. We've been using cocoa and shea butters.
3. Our green apple, balsam pine soap is popular with men and women. This one also sells out at every craft show. Our green swirl is colored with a natural pigment and is very beautiful. It is a hard bar yet very silky. Like our other handmade soaps it has tons of lather and is a blend of olive oil, butter, palm oil, coconut oil and soybean oil. We only use distilled water in our soaps for extra purity.
4. By popular request we've also made an unscented natural soap. This one has plenty of butter and olive oil so it is a very mild soap. The other vegetable oil blends make the soap hard and silky -- in my humble opinion. It has wonderful lather and I feel confident this scent free soap would make a nice, mild soap for a baby. Add this one to your baby shower gift basket.
Since these soaps are handmade their weights differ from soap to soap. They all weigh at least 4 ounces. Many are at least 5 ounces. ALL are wrapped in handmade papers and are wound and tied with beautiful raffia-type ribbon. It truly makes a lovely presentation. Our Spearmint soap is just wonderful. With swirling pinks and reds -- and smelling of spearmint essential oil -- this soap is a refreshing, pick me up soap.
For a reall treat try our 100% Castile Soap. This one has only OLIVE OIL and fragrance. It's heavenly.
