A woman bodega customer attacked an employee preparing a sandwich for her more slowly than she liked, authorities said yesterday.

Ischica Prempeh, 27, clashed with the 19-year-old employee in the store on Thomas S. Boyland Street and Lott Avenue in Brownsville at 5 p.m. Monday, sources said.

Prempeh allegedly punched the victim in the mouth and struck him in the leg with a metal shelf.

A motorist assaulted a car-wash employee after claiming his $600 cellphone had been stolen from his vehicle, authorities said yesterday.

Mario Jeanty, 25, allegedly shook a 19-year-old worker at the "0 to 60" car wash and slammed him against a wall, sources said.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises.

MANHATTAN

An ex-con recently questioned in the murder of his wife was busted for robbing and beating eight women near Columbia University, police said yesterday.

Between Aug. 15 and Sept. 8, Larry Moye, 49, allegedly accosted the women, robbing and assaulting them at knifepoint, police said.

Earlier this month, Moye's wife died from injuries suffered in a vicious attack inside the couple's Brownsville home on Aug. 25.

Moye was questioned in connection with that attack and released, authorities said.

A car thief nearly rammed more than a dozen pedestrians as he tried to flee police in lower Manhattan, authorities said yesterday.

Douglas Perry, 25, was talking on his cellphone behind the wheel of a black 2003 GMC Envoy parked at Lexington Avenue and East 24th Street at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, sources said.

A cop ran the vehicle-ID number and learned the SUV had been reported missing.

When the officer instructed Perry to step out of the vehicle, the suspect allegedly sped off and headed to the West Side, mounting three sidewalks and nearly hitting up to 15 pedestrians.

Police caught him on West 18th Street.

A thief was arrested for snatching $40 from a passer-by on a Chelsea street, police sources said yesterday.

Suspect Shondell Corbit, 20, asked to borrow the victim's cigarette lighter at Eighth Avenue and West 18th Street at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, cops said.

When the man took out the lighter, Corbit grabbed cash from him.

An argument in the Flatiron District ended with one man behind bars and another in the hospital, authorities said yesterday.

David Daise, 37, was arguing with the 24-year-old victim at Fifth Avenue and East 19th Street at 1:30 a.m. last Friday when Daise pulled a razor and slashed the man from the earlobe to the chin, sources said.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Vincent's Hospital.

Police grabbed a man who swiped two watches in a Union Square store, cops said yesterday.

Alexis Hernandez, 29, allegedly put the stolen items in his pocket in Filene's Basement on East 14th Street and University Place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

A 66-year-old man was busted for stealing a purse out of a woman's bag in Penn Station, police said yesterday.

Cops caught Naim Muslim taking the 27-year-old woman's property in the train terminal at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, police said.

STATEN ISLAND

Police yesterday grabbed two men possessing a pipe with cocaine residue and 10 opiate pills on a Port Richmond street, authorities said.

Cops spotted George Baldini, 46, handing the glass pipe to Richard Marcano, 46, at 2:20 a.m. on Castleton Avenue and Port Richmond Avenue, sources said.

An officer frisked Baldini and found the illegal pills in his pocket, a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said.
