Electronic Arts has released two new trailers from NCAA March Madness 08, this time showcasing the PS3 version of this game in the works at EA Canada and due to be available on December 11th, for PS3, Xbox 360 and PS2. NCAA March Madness includes Dynamic Post Control, a new feature where you take complete control over running your offense through the post, and defending your opponent in the paint. For the first time, you have complete control over dozens of new offensive and defensive post moves, from up-and-unders, to hook spins, pump fakes, and every combo in between.

Square Enix today announced the release of Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess, the fourth expansion to Final Fantasy XI for the PC and Xbox 360. This fourth expansion sends players twenty years back in time, right at the core of the Crystal War, the main event upon which the Final Fantasy XI storyline is based. You will need a copy of Final Fantasy XI in order to play this expansion.

Eidos Montreal's general manager, former Ubisoft exec Stéphane D’Astous, confirmed in this Gamasutra article that the first project of this new Eidos studio is Deus Ex 3, a title unveiled a while ago (story). The Eidos Montreal website is hosting a teaser trailer for this sequel to the first-person action RPG developed by Ion Storm.

Focus Home Interactive has released two 3D screens from Sherlock Holmes versus Arsène Lupin, the new Sherlock Holmes mystery game developed by Frogwares. Sherlock Holmes versus Arsène Lupin sends players to 19th Century London where Arsène Lupin, a young French burglar with an impressive track record, has just challenged Scotland Yard and the most famous of detectives - Sherlock Holmes. Lupin has announced that he plans to rob the capital of five objects of immense value over the course of five days. The objects are housed in highly prestigious locations such as the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Tower of London and even Buckingham Palace. Sherlock Holmes will have to muster all his courage and ingenuity to save England from terrible humiliation.

Activision today announced that standalone wireless guitar controllers for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will be available at retail stores nationwide by early 2008. For Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Nintendo Wii there will be an exclusive Gibson Guitar's Les Paul model, while PlayStation 2 gamers will get the Gibson's Kramer guitar.

GSC Game World today announced they are now officially certified by Microsoft as an Xbox 360 developer. The company will start the development of titles for this platform, though the PC platform will still be getting maximum attention. The two recently released titles by GSC Game World are Heroes of Annihilated Empires (self-published worldwide) and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Lighthouse Interactive today announced they have acquired the PAN European publishing rights for WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs Tiger, a tank simulation set during the World War II and scheduled for release in Q1 2008. WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger tells the story of the great triumph of the Soviet Army during the summer campaign of 1944. The game will feature realistic locations, modeled after the Belorussian landscape of the early 20th century, recreated from hundreds of reference photos and maps. ElektroGames today released a playable demo of Building & Co: You are the architect!, the result of a joint effort between construction and video game experts. Far from a simple building site simulation, this city builder will allow users to familiarize themselves with the building industry and help them learn about the issues linked with a real building site; from drawing plans to managing workers, choosing building materials and respecting the environment. Building & Co: You are the architect! will hit the store shelves for PC in early 2008.

Romanian independent game developers Brightside Entertainment today announced the release of a new version of Marble Arena, a new family friendly game where the goal is to control your marble in order to get close to bright and colorful stars placed around the level and then let your zapper do the talking. The more stars you zap, the more points you get. Each level has a certain amount of points you need to get in order to complete it. The more points you gather the bigger you grow, and the harder you are to be pushed around by physics contraptions that you'll encounter such as jumppads, air vents and vortexes. The downside to this is that your own weight will slow your jumping down, making some places unreachable after growing too much. CCP Games has released the first trailer from EVE Online: Trinity, showcasing the upcoming expansion for this popular MMORPG. EVE Online: Trinity will be available in two versions: Classic (timeless good looks) and Premium (the smokin’ hotness, recommended for systems with Shader 3 graphics capabilities). Those who might be concerned that better graphics may impair the game's performance will find comfort in knowing that that the tests have shown it actually performs better because the models have been completely overhauled and optimized.
