It has been brought to our attention that the Ugnaught from Rogues and Scoundrels enables a dark side deck that can win on the first turn an unacceptable percentage of the time. In response to this, Ugnaught will be immediately added to the new SW:TCG Banned list.

We are very proud that we have not had to ban any cards from the SW TCG up to this point. And, we are somewhat reluctant to make this announcement. However, when any deck archetype is capable of winning with this high of a percentage, especially on the first turn, we will take whatever steps are necessary to restore some balance to the tournament environment. It is unfortunate that we have to make this announcement with so little time before the qualifiers begin. In the future, if a card is so degenerate that it warrants banning, we will try to give at least one month's notice.

We hope this will not negatively effect the qualifier season, and we are concerned about players who may not hear of it in time. Please try to get the word out as quickly as possible to all concerned.
