Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Tuesday that sending a second U.S. aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf could serve as a "reminder" to Iran, but he said it's not an escalation of force.

I'm watching the PBS documentary "Carrier" about the USS Nimitz' deployment to the Persian Gulf in 2005. It didn't work then & it won't work now.

Incidentally, it's a great documentary about ordinary sailors.

I heard someone mention a report about US investors, banks, corporations etc. withdrawing from Iran. Usually when this happens war is not far off.

What an incredibly strange thing to say. Doubling the amount of aircraft, navy personel and bombs is not an 'escalation of force'???

By the laws of English language and grammar that's exactly what it is.

Why does the current US regime lie so blatantly? I mean, not only do they habitually obscure the truth they actually talk nonsense, things that are self contradictory. Is it because it just doesn't matter, or do they actually think people are so stupid as to accept the statements as truth? Or, perhaps even more worrying than a corrupt government or the unlikely event of a 100% stupid populace, it is actually the politicians themselves that believe the nonsense...

I feel insulted every time it happens. Powell's speech in 2003 was bad enough in its transparent lies (which he himself calls 'the biggest black spot on my career) but the stuff coming out these days is actually in utter contradiction to their own words. Do they think saying something makes it so? Who believes this stuff???

And may I just giggle again at the US government comdemning anyone, let alone IRAN, for supporting terrorist groups. To understand why, pls see CIA money to Tibetan terrorists and bombers for 20 years [1000s dead], taking the KLA off the terrorist group list in return for non-aggression in the kosovo conflict, paying Sunni militias in Iraq not to attack, funding, training and arming the Taliban against the Russians, same thing with the Chennyans - who dropped a hell of a lot more than two crowded buildings - that islamic terrorist group Jundullah against, yep you guessed it, IRAN! Plus the whole thing of arming Saddam to invade Iran.

That's the reminder -'We just want to remind you that WE have funded terrorists and dictators to kill your people for 40 years with utter impunity. We wish to remind you that might makes right and we are a f*ck of a lot mightier than you (can you think of another reason the US could ever be considered the 'rightest' country on earth? Coz the standard of living, education, health care, crime levels and every other measure of society are better in at least one other country). And we'd also like to remind you that when we, the US, dictated the terms of the NPT and forced in the "right" to develop a "threshold capacity" and "peaceful nuclear research" that was for our benefit, not yours you insubordinate little grease monkey. Now go fetch our oil. And re-install the oppressive monarchy you ousted in favour of a democratic republic too - yes I know you exactly followed our example, except for the doing it peacefully and by popular acclaim, but democracy isn't for you. You don't make the choices we tell you to'.

Iff the USA refuses to attack and invade IRAN as per OSAMA BIN LADEN's personal Apocalypse, IRAN + OSAMA + RADICAL ISLAMISM will use the interim time to de facto acquire URANIUM-PLUTONIUM NUKES AND POTENT WMDS, NOT JUST SO-CALLED "DIRTY BOMBS". IMO, Osama + Islamists are also covertly redirecting and concentrating the Jihad towards RUSSIA + ASIA > as long as the US-COALITION STAYS IN IRAQ-AFGHANISTAN = OUT OF CENTRAL ASIA ETC., they believe IRAN + ISLAMISM WILL STILL GET THEIR NUKES TO SAVE AND RE-EMPOWER THEIR JIHAD.

3 tribes in the middle east escape and it does not say only now does it.Read Daniel Ch 11 last half.

Force is with dividing of the lands and escapings hands.
What a double moral agent force.

Even the elite not just serfs are divided and or escaping eachother and this is New world order till the fullness of Daniel 12:1.

One world goverment by fallen mankind that cannot be fully trusted never arrives read Daniel Ch 11 last half.

Back in the B.C times it was confounding languages now it is confounding forces.

What paradox prosperings of divsions and escapings worldwide.

Divided world confounding forces has arrived.

Every 2,000 years divisions and escapings are more than the previous 2,000 year timeline.

Aircraft carriers are monster boondoggles -- the 21st century equivalent of battleships.

Iran could easily take them out:

The question is -- will it?

We have the 3 Mideast religions at each others' throats again, sucking the rest of us along for the ride.

What kingship forces.

(Times of indignations)(time of individuals)

B.C Babel had confounding languages. This time its more than just that it confounding forces.

Clay and iron feet babel not having a mingling time in these times of indignations time of individuals are we.Daniel CH 2

The new world order dominating the planet is dividing lands and escaping hands, as it should be according to checks and balances of powers.

Heck Immanuel said even the principalities of the air were to be shaken/divided in this generation.

Divisions and escapes is a fact of life and math.

What does a angel of Immanuel/Yashua standing with a short yet thick sword mean.

Could this have something to do with Daniel 12:1??

--))))> ( A sword something of this volume/size )
( A sword about the length from elbow to hand )

With a short sleeved arms and legs white war robe on and alot of muscle.

Does this have something to do with Daniel 12:1??

And the Alpha/Arch standing against wickedness.
