Pop Culture Hot List
By Arash Markazi

1 Kobe Bryant
Those famous "M-V-P" chants at Staples Center aren't just delusional pleas to the NBA from Lakers fans anymore as Bryant was finally named the NBA's MVP this week. Not a bad turnaround for a guy who was demanding to be traded on every radio show outside of Ryan Seacrest's morning show this time last year.
2 David Beckham
Becks showed off his new beard and celebrated his 33rd birthday by notching his first two-goal game in the MLS against Real Salt Lake last week. His effort on the pitch was only outdone by his performance on Oprah as he and Posh gushed about their friendship with Tom Cruise.
3 Dwyane Wade
The only thing more disgusting than rumors of Star Jones and D-Wade hooking up is having Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith teasing Wade about the rumored relationship on national television last week with the sounds of a cougar in the background. "I like Star. She's a cougar," said Barkley. "Preying on a young Dwyane Wade."
4 Kim Kardashian
Soon after Paris Hilton described Kardashian's backside as "cottage cheese stuffed in a trash bag", "The Tush" is reportedly having cellulite removal treatment on her posterior in preparation for a calendar she's making for Reggie Bush. We're fairly certain the calendar will somehow find its way online like another homemade project she made for her ex-boyfriend's enjoyment.
5 Sean Avery
Less than a week after lying in intensive care and writing his will, the Rangers enforcer was back in his element. Not on the ice, but at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala, hobnobbing with Hollywood's elite and no doubt preparing for his summer internship at Vogue.
6 Elisha Cuthbert
Avery's former fling is now dating Calgary's Dion Phaneuf and thankfully the Flames have been eliminated from the playoffs allowing for these pictures of the couple, and more importantly Cuthbert in a bikini, at the beach.
7 Tim Tebow
While his peers are jumping off frat houses or getting kicked off of teams, Tebow is spending his spring break in an impoverished village in the Philippines, helping to circumcise impoverished children. This guy is so perfect that we're starting to believe that those Tim Tebow Facts are actually true.
8 Mariah Carey
We're not sure what to think of Mimi's marriage to Nick Cannon. Seems like a really bad publicity stunt on the heels of her new music video, Bye Bye. Either way, we're happy to see our old friend rise up the celebrity ladder after having dated Christina Milian, Kim Kardashian and Selita Ebanks.
9 Dallas Cowboys
Has there ever been a team better suited for an HBO reality series than these Cowboys? The storylines inspired by Terrell Owens, Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, Tony Romo and, of course, Jessica Simpson will be wilder than any episode of Cathouse. Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, the last two teams that have starred in Hard Knocks have gone 4-12 and 5-11, respectively.
10 Seth McFarlane
The Family Guy creator has gone from seeing his show twice canceled to becoming the highest-paid TV writer-producer, inking a new deal worth over $100 million for Family Guy, American Dad and Guy spin-off, The Cleveland Show. Amazingly, none of this would have happened if he hadn't overslept one fateful morning.
