WarChess1 is played on a normal sized 8x8 chessboard, and has all the normal chess pieces. Each side has an extra 2 knights and 2 bishops than normal chess. It allows you to have 2 bishops on the same colored square.

'warchess_classical', 'warchess_veronique' and 'warchess_modern' are three variants of this idea.
