Object: Checkmate the opponent's King.
 
The concept that makes this variant new is the idea that a piece can change into other pieces depending on the color of the square it lands on.
A piece landing on a yellow square changes into a Queen. Violet changes a piece into a Rook. Red into a Bishop. Light green into a Knight, and dark green into a Pawn. White does not change the piece.
