Object: Checkmate the opponent's King.
 
In addition to the standard Pawn move, a Pawn can move to a free space like a Queen. It still captures like in standard chess, however.
 
Variant 2: A Pawn moves like a Rook.
Variant 3: A Pawn moves like a Bishop.
Variant 4: A Pawn moves like a Knight.
Variant 5: A Pawn moves like a King.
Variants 6 - 10: Like variants 1-5, but only forward or sideward moves allowed.
 
Apart from this, standard chess rules apply.
