Object: Checkmate the opponent's King. When you capture a piece, the square you start from is painted red, and it becomes unavailable for further use. Pieces can slide over such a red square, though. Apart from this, all chess rules apply. Please note: in this game, captures are executed by pointing at the target square, NOT by moving a piece to this square. Variant 2: Pawns have a special additional move: A Pawn can slide over one or several burnt squares, landing on the next empty square. Variants 3, 4: As variants 1 and 2, but stalemate is a loss.
