[7:30 AM] MACWORLD Expo: Hi-tech Gaming Chairs on Display from Imeron
by Staff

Mac gamers at MACWORLD Expo SF will be able to experience the immersive sensation provided by Imeron's gaming devices. Imeron will have their Intensor LX chairs with subwoofer AND Intensor fx portable chairs with gaming vests on display at the show. According to Imeron:

Intensor LX Sensory Chair-The Intensor LX features a patented, built-in, immersive sound system that provides a strong tactile feedback sensation and creates a more realistic gaming experience. The Intensor LX features a comfortable, recontoured seat, and the controls have been moved from the chair's front to the right side for easier access. The chair features rebalanced audio output for improved stereo imaging and better overall sound, more control over the tactile feedback, and greater headphone output. The Intensor LX will also have a locking connector to prevent the cable from becoming detached during use, and a new chair base without armrests that allows unrestricted game play.

Intensor fx Portable Sensory Chair-The Intensor fx provides stereo sound with tactile feedback for console games, such as Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and SONY Playstation, and can also be used with personal computers, Macintosh computers, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, and home audio systems. Whereas the original Intensor's sound and feedback came from the base and back of the chair, the Intensor fx's sound and tactile feedback emanates from the seat of the unit. The product is much smaller and lighter than the original Intensor, allowing it to be placed on chairs, sofas, and the floor.

The Intensor FX with gaming Vest is available for US$90, while the Intensor LX is available for US$170, and the optional subwoofer is available for US$99. You can visit Imeron at booth #4540, or their web site, for more information.
