What is Emo? The truth is that a definition of emo doesn't exist; it means different things for different people. There are hundreds of definitions made up by people but not one of these can describe every single person, that is because the emo hair style and emo style in general changes, whether we're talking about the emo fashion, emo hair, the emo girls and emo boys always alter their appearances. Emo can be a term used to describe culture, including music, day-to-day activities, fashion and appearance. Many people are really confused about what emo actually is; especially those who have stereotypical views against the cultural movement. However, it is important to realize that emo today hasn't got the same meaning as in the 80s; the term was 'stolen' if you want. For example, in 80s, people who had today's emo hair weren't called emo. Emo is an expression; a way of life that brings out your emotions. Why judge them? You don't know them. Originality is what makes emo.

The newfound Theory of Paladossus, as told by Barrett A. Gresley. The Cold War: what was the point of it? To prove that one system of Government was wrong and the other was right? Honestly, the war was fought to see who could develop bigger and better weapons at a faster rate and who could get to into Space faster. But the Cold War had many hot spots, the most famous being Cuba, Vietnam and "The Forgotten War," Korea. Nothing good came out of those two wars.Jorea was fought because one side wanted to unify the country under Communist rule, and the other side wanted to stop Korea from becoming Communist. The same thing happened in Vietnam. Now one must ask the question: why did we fight against Communism? Because of personal beliefs that have been brainwashed into the general populus of a country? Because people were so naive that they saw that the Soviets had better bombs and they were going to bomb the U.S.? If the U.S.S.R., did start W.W.III, why? Why would they waste resources to stop a system of Government from worldwide domination? Or, better yet, why take over the world? Humans, as a race, don't see what's in front of them. They take in what's being said by the politicians because the general poblic doesn't know how to handle things that are different to their culture. Like how Communism was to Deomcracy.Communism was feared (and still is, apparently) because it was so different from Democracy. People are still fearful and have a deep hatred of Communism, and people have the same feelings toward Democracy (or the way the U.S. practices is, anyway).

Pripyat & Chernobyl: Shadows of poor Soviet Union treatment toward Ukraine?
Even though the Chernobyl accident happened 22 years ago, it still is a shining example of the treatment of Ukraine by the Soviet Union. the depressing part wasn't necessarily the accident. It was the evacuation of the nearby city of Pripyat. About a day and a half after reactor no. 4 exploded at the Chernobyl plant, Soviet officials decided to evacuate the city, telling all citizens to only pack essentials to last them 3 days. but the Soviets didn't tell their Ukrainian "brothers" the truth: the city would never be inhabited again.
Ever since the accident, Ukrainian workers have been going into the destroyed reactor in an (ill-fated) attempt to remove all traces of radiation, but the levels are too great. it's been reported that the workers can't be inside there for more than two minutes while wearing specialised suits. And they only get about $1000/month for this two minute job. And since it was their mess, should the Russians take over the "clean-up" project?
For more info, travell to the poll entitled "What should happen to Pripyat & Chernobyl?" and give your input there or here. It doesn't matter where, really.
Everyone's paranoid these days...
It's an observation I'fve been making ever since I moved to the U.S. in 2002. And it's been growing worse, with all these worries of alll these terrorist threats. If they really wanted to attack the U.S., they would've done so already. And they would've attacked other places if they wanted to make their move. People have to quit being so worried all the time and enjoy what they've been given and what comes naturally to them. I know it's hard for some people, but the World doesn't have to revolve around worries. And this brings up another point.
"Popularity" Paranoia:All these worries about being number one or even being liked have gone far off the deep end. There's these polls going around; here's an example: "Do You Like Alara???" Is this for real? Is everyone so concerned with how popular they are that they have to make polls to see how much people like them? It's this kind of mentality taht is hated among humans who have common sense and who also have logic. People are so consumed with their social status that they'll go to great extents to make sure that they're still on the top.

Campbell hospitalized for cyst removal - omg! news on Yahoo!
The 37-year-old British supermodel, a frequent visitor to Brazil who earlier this month celebrated Carnival in the northeastern city of Salvador, was treated at Sirio Libanes Hospital.
See, things like this is what pisses me and a lot of people off. All she had was a small cyst in her abdomen operated on. And they're treating the situation like she got shot 3 times and she's recovering. It's a freaking cyst, people! Come on! This is the kind of mentality I hate about people. Everything's focused on entertainment more than the real issues.
