Do men not realize that by giving women the right to abortion, they've placed the fate of their own child in someone else's hands.

I, being a woman, can abort and kill my husbands unborn child with out his permission, or without even telling him.

As a man, why would you give away that right? Are men so whipped that they would give up such important and life changing rights?

It is my belief that most men are not really ok with abortion laws, but they say they are, and go along with it just so it appears they are in touch with a woman's feelings.

How many men out there are really against abortion but are afraid to speak out against it?

There's a lot of men that ask their woman to go get an abortion. Some women would rather have the child, but respect their men's wishes since they are the ones that would have to help financially. I think it happens more than you obviously realize. This also doesn't even touch on the abusive husband's...there's some that have killed their pregnant wives because she refused to have an abortion.

That's a matter of opinion.

Yah, and there are men who want the baby but the woman doesn't. It can go both ways.

No, it's a matter of law. It's solely the woman's choice.

Yep...whose body is it? Either way, she's the one that has to do it.

Some men dont care for serious responsiblity(like a child) so the fact that a lady could choose to just remove that serious responsiblity is a God-send.

Las can be overturned, and that's why people like me are posing questions like these. I'm trying to get people to think about what is happening.

Call me silly but since it's the woman who is carrying the child, the woman who has to sustain from alcochol, et. al., the woman who has to go through the hormonal changes, the woman who has to go to the doctor, the woman who has to go through labor, the woman who has to deal with the aches, pains, emotions, stress, body changing, boob sagging, can't-see-her-feet-to-paint-he r-toenails, kicks, cries, feeding, etc., the woman who has to take several weeks off of work, the woman who has to raise the child if said father splits,(breath) then I believe it is PRIMARILY her choice.

What about a vasectomy? Is it your choice when your boyfriend or husband undergoes that procedure?

Even the conservative justices you guys keep appointing admit that RvW cannot be overturned and have no wish to do so.

You lost, 35 years ago. It's time to get over it.

Since when do men "allow" women to do anything? And why would they have any say about our body? It's not their uterus.

It's not fair to men who want the child. And I feel for any man who wanted a child and his wife/girlfriend aborted it. But I'd feel the same way if it were men carrying the baby and had the choice to make.

I am a woman and I feel that it should not be an option UNLESS the woman has been raped. That child is in you, why kill it? It didn't have a choice. Any comments??

Men allow abortion by their vote. If all men voted for a congress that stood against abortion, then include the millions of women who stand against it, the law would be reversed. So therefore, by having a nation of whipped men who won't stand up for what they truely believe, they've given over the right of choice to the woman.

I agree. As a woman, do you stand up against popular opinion when it comes to moral issues, such as abortion? Not just in Topix, but in real life? It's the silent majority that now has to stand up and take our country back. Look where our country has gone since morality has been done away with.

You're missing the fact that women vote too.

When my husband went for a vasectomy the doctor wouldn't do the proceedure without my consent. He said it was a state requirement. Is that ironic, or what. I can kill his child, but he can't prevent one without permission.

You're right. But I believe there are enough men and women in this country who are against abortion for the law to be overturned. Those "silent" pro-lifers just need to quit be so "silent".

So you think murdering the child is ok if the sex wasn't any fun? What kind of silliness is that?
