You Americans are amazing. You concern yourself with the most banal things. Who cares what this preacher says? You worry more about flag lapel pins than what your possible future president is going to do to save the world. You cry like babies over rising gas prices while those of us in Europe still pay more. You've had decades to do something about this but no, any politician who urge conservation and research never got elected. You insist on including ethonol in fuel which causes famine around the world all to impress voters in Iowa. Actually, Rev Wright had it right. American is learning the hard way. You invage another country using bogus reports, the bully everyone, you say you can have nuclear weapons but no one else can, you impeach a president who has consensual sex with an adult but do nothing about a president who lies you into a war costing thousands of your citizens to perish at billion dollars in cost. And you wonder why we hate you? And when someone like me tries to voice an opinion you don't like your turn to your talking heads who scream USA, USA. Go look in the mirror

First of all Leonard, shut up and go back to your third world country. Secondly, Obama "wishes" the country was tired of hearing about Wright. This story has strong legs and will run along side him til the finish line and will probably be his downfall. Thank goodness we found out soon enough what kind of influences Barack Hussien Obama had on his life.

I, for one, am sick of hearing about the Rev. Wright. He has made his comments and Obama has made his comments. Either the people believe him or they don't. We aren't voting for Wright so it's time to put him back in the past and move along to the real issues that Obama will need to tackle if he is elected.

It is clear to me that Obama is squeaky clean because they are grasping at straws to condemn him, personally i think its petty and i believe its been a plot of the clinton's to tare a man down who's fierce competition. Unfortunately, there is a segment of the american public who will buy into this nonsense. the latest thing is the "racism" associated with the majority of black democrats supporting Obama. Give em a break. Blacks have been supporting white candidates since they could vote. What we are seeing is a true test of how democratic and egalitarian the DEMOCRATIC PARTY really is willing to be. It is easy to be fair when you have nothing to lose. If Obama is treated unfairly, this could break up the solid support of the black community for the democratic party. That is not to suggest that the Republicans have anything better to offer, but blacks will have to rethink their support of all candidates.

Simply because there is a candidate some people like who is black, or half black, doesn't mean we need to go out waving out arms yelling" hooray, we finally have a candidate of color I can vote for thus erasing the sins of our forfathers". No, this is America where people fight tooth and nail to get the nomination and then fight even harder in the general election. There is no plot, it is simply politics or the nature of the beast. A vast majority of Obama supporters are voting for the first time and this is the first time they've paid even a little attention to how the process works. It does appear to be business as usual in the black community to cry "foul" as loud as possible to get their way. That isn't how politics works, or at least it hasn't worked that way in the past. Obama isn't squeaky clean. Neither is Clinton or McCain or anyone who seeks to gain the highest office in our land. There are favors to be paid, backs to be scratched and in that and those processes we, the American people, want to know that the backs being scratched and the favors being repaid are in our best interest, not a foreign entity or an enemy of the state. With Obama, there are simply too many unanswered questions...thus the absolute need for a debate without moderators or teleprompters .

Squeaky clean? Go get your meds. Wait til the news about Bill Ayers is released. You'll regret your support for Obama. I was hoodwinked by the Obama campaign for about 8 months til I started reading more. Keep smoking the crack; you'll feel better. Keep trying to get to your Obama talking points. Obama knew this controversy would come with Rev Wright and it's here to stay. GD America, AIDS was created by the US government, etc. Oreodog wrote: I, for one, am sick of hearing about the Rev. Wright. He has made his comments and Obama has made his comments. yea and that happen when obama was 8 years old, i'm sure they got advice with a kid on how they should proceed geez you folks will try anything..lol makeup sh*t whatever it takes people are damn sure going to use them against a Black politician of similar stature. What I find impressive about him is that even with all that crap out there, he's still winning (the nomination at least). Clinton is reportedly spreading the word that she should be the nominee because Obama can't win, and cites race and Wright as one of the big reasons. You see racism is kind of like a virus. It mutates and avoids new strains of resistance. In the old days you could put a face on it-George Wallace, Bull Connor, etc. Today it is systemic and has names like Katrina and sub-prime lending. But, it all has the same purpose.

We will not forget Obama's lying about Rev. Wright for three weeks and then throwing him under the bus. Then there is Antonin Rezko, he is on trial now and gave Barrack Hussein Obama $250,000 . They there is Bill Ayers his neighbor and who he worked with on a board of directors who is a convicted Weather Underground bomber that bombed the Pentagon. These are Obama's friends and we are going to make you see it everywhere you go.

Racism lives on this board and on every board posting comments about Barack Obama. If you are African American, you don't want to admit the connection between Obama and Wright and its very negative connotations and impact. If you are an Anglo American, you are shocked by this person you had trust in and are quickly scampering to back Clinton. Bottom line: regardless of color you MUST see that this man and his connection to Wright is VERY relevant. This is a man CHOSEN as a mentor and what his mentor is teaching is NOT in the best interests of society as a whole NOR is it very Christian-like.

You are the one who needs to get off the race train...Sorry to shatter your illusions of a savior but Obama is simply NOT qualified. I don't care if he's green or purple! It's taken the man 2-3mths. to back away from this Rev. Wright ordeal. How the heck do you expect him to deal with the likes of the mad man of nth. Korea, or mister "I'm going to blow Isreal off the map" from Iran? He has no substance and no experience, not this time. Maybe in 4-8 yrs. but not this time...

It is those people who haven't fallen for the garbage the media spits out...i.e.:Katrina and prime lending, that need to use some eye wash so they can see clearly. Change is a wonderful word and change can be a good thing, but just throwing about a catch-phrase isn't change, that's business as usual. I think he has some good points but I do not think he can persuade congress to do the things that need to be done. I also think he is cowardly for not having an open debate with Hillary and this business of already having 21 debates does not cut it anymore. Between now and the convention there are nearly 3,000 hours, he needs to only use 1 and one half of those hours and then everyone would know who he is and what he is for. It might even change my mind...you never know, but until he shows some intestinal fortitude, I'm sticking with Hillary.

Obama called me his Spiritual Adviser and Pastor. I married him. I baptized his daughters. He was in my pews for 22 years. I thought he was my friend. He lied about me for three weeks and then stabbed me in the back and threw me under the bus. What makes you think he won't do the same to you when Allah calls and tells him to let the terrorists attack the United States. I thought he was my friend?
