Alicia's
father is a real estate investor and financial consultant
and her mother is a former
flight attendent. She began her career at the age of six
when she began doing commercials.
These commercials led her into a role in the Wonder Years
with Fred Savage. She played the
character of the dream girl. But it was her role in the
film Crush that garnered her the most
attention from the public. Her role in that movie was
as a young teenager obsessed with a
thirty-something man.
During filming,
Silverstone hired a body double to pose nude for her.
She also gained some fame
from the Aerosmith video, Cryin, Crazy and Amazing.
Since then she has won MTV film awards a couple
times over and has even stared in a Batman film as Batgirl.

was offered a role in Beverly Hills
90210. She was also refused the lead role in Romeo and
