Obama considers Iraq visit amid GOP criticism

Barack Obama -- increasingly under fire from John McCain as he appears poised to win the Democratic nomination -- said he is considering a trip to Iraq but dismissed as a "political stunt" an invitation by the Republican candidate to make the visit together.

Can BHO even find Iraq on a map? If he does not know how many US states there are, he probably can't find Iraq on the map either. BHO is the dullest knife in the senate. Keep talking BHO, you are proving to America that you are not smart and that the presidency is out of your league.

I say send him over there along with a side trip to visit his buddy in Iran. If we are lucky the SOB would never return.

I do not believe him if he says that he is not going over there to score political points.

He would be smart to wait until he becomes president. If he loses his presidential bid, then he can go back to the senate and continue to ignore Iraq and claim that we should never have gone there in the first place.

Oprahamama is so GD dumb, I question if he could find IRAQ on a map, much less go there. He thinks there are 57 states in the UNION!

If he anounces he's going, then he will be the first ever VIP that went to Iraq, without the usual, 'un-anounced' or 'surprise' visit's that all the others did.

Another case of him not being able to have an original idea of his own!! If he isn't using someone elses words then he uses their ideas. What a loser!

He was smart enough to read the intelligence briefing that said the weapons inspectors determined there were no WMDs and conclude that an iraq invasion would be a mistake.

You all seem impartial and im sure you are smart enough after all the years to see that.

While I disagree I must point out that intelligent comments and reasoned decision making are not qualities of our current commander in chief.

Then why did he refuse to go with McCain when he was ask? Think he might have been concerned he wouldn't get the crowd support bought for him in the US?

This could be a windfall for our troops. All the Muslim insurgents will crawl out of their holes to see their buddy and ally Barrack Hussein Obama. How many snipers can the services muster?

I opine that Barack Hussein Obama is the next generation of Socialist/Marxist Democrats, pushed by the leftist Political machine. He is a Phantom; as junior Senator from Illinois, what has Barrack Obama done? What have been his greatest accomplishments in the Senate? What has BHO done, for the people of America, that we can say are his shinning moments in the Halls of Washington, DC? What significant foreign Policy and diplomatic efforts has he championed, during his time in the Senate? What major piece of economic legislation has he sponsored? Who is Barrack Obama? He is going to be not the uniting force for the US, but the divisive force crippling the ability to get anything done in our government; Us vs Them, Neomarxist/socialist democrats vs Conservative Republicans.

While I hope we all know by now that the invasion was a mistake...sorry...obama has no right to make statements about whether or not he would have or would not have vote for or against...he was not in the senate at the time, and was not under the same pressures as those that ACTUALY voted one way or another. It is too easy to arm chair quarter back 5 years later. Sorry no pass on this one for obama.

First off you people want to call him a Muslim which he's not, then you figure he doesn't know what Iraq is? AS IF any of you moron are intelligent enough to find it your damn self. Make up your minds either he's a Muslim in conspiracy with Iraq or he's not b/c he can't find it. What a bunch super pathetic hater's you appear to be! Ok, then. You obviously make wise choices based on a thoughtful perspective. Enjoy another 4 years of chaos in Iraq and a worsening economy. And have fun explaining to your female relatives why they no longer have access to abortion services. I hope you realize that your vindictive attitude is one of the reasons America is descending into poverty and hopelessness. But whatever makes you feel better.

Obama is the better candidate because he has built strong ground organizations nationwide, has stayed on message, has (mostly) taken the high road, has exhibited coolness under fire, and has built a donor base unprecedented in American politics. He has passed the threshold to commander in chief. In contrast, Clinton's campaign has been in conflict 'from day 1,' has gone through several shakeups, has changed messages several times, has pandered, slung mud, lied, run out of money several times, and left a whole trail of unpaid vendors. Since their positions on issues are so similar, we must look to how well they've run their respective campaigns for insight into how effective each would be in the presidency. Given the above, who do you think is the better candidate?

Your vote is YOUR responsibility, not ours, and if you vote for McCain, then that's a decision you have to justify to yourself. Personally, wars and economy and soldiers lives are not worth voting against just because I'm pissed off that "my" candidate didn't get the nomination, and even though I can't stand Hillary Clinton, for me it comes down to issues versus issues, and for me, McCain would be a disaster over either Dem. McCain can't define the difference between Sunni and Shia. This guy is trying to be President? McCain makes Bush look smart.
McCain has taken both sides of any issue and changed back and forth on every issue many times.
So long as he can fool people by appearing Presidential, he doesn't think he has to worry about things like the truth or the facts! He is too out of it to even seem to know what he is saying..it is the way early Alzheimer's starts to show it's unraveling of memory and personality and the human brain..and Not only him but apparently a lot of people in this thread are right there with him on this brain thing. Oh BTW, its proven by scientific research that racism makes you stupid, its a fact!
