The Detroit Pistons attempt to stave off elimination, as they welcome the Boston Celtics tonight to The Palace of Auburn Hills for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Too bad the network has the league in their back pocket, and there is nothing the network wants more than a Lakers vs Celtics final. It will be an uphill battle but I wish them luck. Go Pistons (and Red Wings too).

It's been a long time since Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls sent Isaiah, Lambier, Rodman, etc slinking off to the locker room on their way to their first title.(after the Pistons knocked them off a few times).
Still, it's sweet to see the Pistons go down. Six Titles, and I still can't let the Bad Boys go. Grudges are hard to let go. I'll have my popcorn... |

If my other post makes me sounf anti-Detroit, that is not so. I am rooting for the Red Wings to win the Stanley Cup against the Penguins.

Hamilton left the arena with his arm in a sling. An injury in the final seconds of the game. Funny I didn't see anything happen that caused him to strain his elbow.It musta been a Garden Ghost yanking on it.Or he's yanking our chain about this crap. The only way he should sit out is if his arm is broken.This aint a game for cry-babies. |
