The Krasnoyarsk Territory Legislative Assembly continues working at the Regional Charter. As Vice Speaker of the Assembly Alexei Kleshko announced Wednesday, nearly 300 amendments to the bill had been already received. Most of the amendments were introduced by Krasnoyarsk Governor Alexander Khloponin.
"Our deputies Abakumov, Nechaev, Semyonov, Surotkin, Korolyov, Shakhmatov, and Sevastyanov have worked hard. A lot of amendments have been made by the governor. Most of them concerned management of the executive power of the region, as we had arranged it before. We begin the procedure of official considering of these amendments with participation of their authors and all the deputies interested in it. There are nearly 300 amendments in total, which is very good because it shows that people care about the main document of the region," Kleshko said.
"We will hold two panel discussions on some aspects of the charter and post all the amendments on the Legislative Assembly official website. After a discuccion of all the amendments at the special meeting, we will carry out a thorough expert examination to reveal inner contradictions. This is what we are going to do during a month," he explained.
As Newslab reported earlier, it is planned to pass the document by May.
