670 slot-machines seized in Krasnoyarsk Territory for 9 months of gambling ban period

670 slot-machines have been seized in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for 9 months of the gambling ban period. "About prohibition of gambling business and gambling games in the Krasnoyarsk Territory" law has been in effect in the region since July 1, 2007.

According to the Krasnoyarsk Territory Interior Department, 671 slot-machines have been seized, and 98 citizens have been instituted to administrative proceedings for illegal gambling business, and 31 – for illegal placement of slot-machines in their outlets and other institutions. The Krasnoyarsk Territory police intend to introduce changes to the law prohibiting gambling business and impose fines on Internet cafe owners, who provide access to "virtual" casinos because playing online games is connected with money too.
