Three children, who went missing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on May, 1 holidays, have been found. A woman, a citizen of Tugach, reported to the operative board of Sayansky District Interior Department that her granddaughter, 13, had gone missing. Police established that two girls went to the first to fetch some birch juice. One of them returned home around 6 p. m. and said to the woman that her granddaughter had lost in the wood. The woman was searching for the girl for four hours unsuccessfully and then reported to police.
More than 140 people were involved in the search for the child including police officers, rescuers, foresters, hunters, Cossacks, and local citizens. On the next day the girl was found by local citizens 15 km away from Tugach around 3.00 p. m. The child is reported as being in satisfactory condition. She is at home now.
On May 2 a thirteen-year-old teenager, who had escaped from home several times, left home at 2.00 a. m. and took his younger brother with him in Kansk. Thanks to operative work of police, the children were found on the same day.
Children are running away from their homes more often, as it is warm now, the press service of the regional interior department reported. In average from 4 to 7 children go missing every day.
