Chocolate Sunflower Seed
Turn Down Treats

Our guests love these and always want the recipe. It is fun to have your guests guess what is in them. Rarely do they guess sunflower seeds. If you buy a package with individual containers, you can whip up as few as 3 of these at a time. I make them fresh that day for each guest. You may substitute cranraisins for variety or mix 1/2 sunflower seeds and 1/2 cranraisins together.

Ingredients

Chocolate-flavored bark coating package containing 12 squares (best if package contains individual containers of chocolate)

Roasted sunflower seeds

Melt 2 squares of chocolate in microwave oven. Stir in 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds. (Consistency should be that of a cookie, only you don't want these flat.) Drop in dollops onto wax paper. Let chocolate set up for approximately 20 minutes. Serve on turn-down tray.

Makes: 6 to 7 (medium size). Preparation time: 3 minutes. Set-up time: 20 minutes.
