Heavenly Chocolate

Ingredients: 1/2 pound butter; 1/2 cup shortening; 3 cups sugar; 5 eggs; 3 cups flour; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 4 Tablespoons cocoa; 1 cup milk; 1 Tablespoon vanilla

Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together all dry ingredients. Mix dry and wet, alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a 12-cup greased and floured tube or bundt pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done.

This is a very rich cake and does not need any icing.
