Claire's Crazy Cake

In Memory of my mother, Clarice E. Golino (she loved to whip up this cake on a minute's notice).

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3 rounded Tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
6 Tablespoons oil
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking soda into an oblong pan and stir well with a fork. Mix the oil, vinegar, and vanilla in a cup. Make 3 holes in the dry mixture and pour the mixture from the cup into holes. Pour 1 cup water over all and stir well with fork. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Makes: 6 servings.
