Mom's Chocolate Pound Cake

Recipe compliments of " Tastes From My Kitchen" by Peggy Smith, Sally Smith Cahalan's sister.

Ingredients
1/2 pound butter
1/3 cup Crisco shortening
2-2/3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
dash of salt
8 Tablespoons cocoa
1 cup milk

Mix all ingredients well, but don't overmix. Bake at 275 degrees for about 90 minutes in tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
