Paul House to stay incarcerated, for now

Haslam Scholars and local Pre-school meet with Bruce Pearl

Today, 6/6/08, the newest Haslam Scholars and students from Sam E. Hill School met with Bruce Pearl and Jimmy Haslam at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. These bright recipients of the Haslam scholarship will be freshmen this coming year at the University of Tennesse. They accompanied the pre-schoolers through the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and participated with them in various activities. Prior to going through the museum Jimmy Haslam and Bruce Pearl gave exciting motivational speeches to the kids and took questions from the incoming freshmen. The kids seemed to have a wonderful time and went home with another great memory.
