Nearly four decades after the four biggest Western oil companies were expelled from Iraq by Saddam Hussein, they are negotiating their return. While I won't get into semantics over the war, I agree that it's time the U.S. started being paid back for the freedoms we've given the Iraqi people...We paid in blood, they can pay in oil...The only thing that offends me is how FORIEGN companies are jumping right in...BP is one thing, they helped tremendously, but the Dutch?...They played a minimal part, yet now want to reap the rewards?...

I am doing my part to protest gas and oil. I will not ride in a car until something is done. This world is so full of problems. Bush is not helping. Glad I did not vote for him.

Really? Because the war has cost us over 500 billion dollars so far. Talk about a profit?

Uh... not really. We overthrew saddam. Because we overthrew saddam, al qaida terrorists stormed in. Ex bathists join al qaida. So yes, it has to do with 9/11.

HOUSTON – Hunt Oil Co. said during the weekend it signed a deal to explore for oil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
The private Dallas oil company said in a press release it signed a production sharing contract, along with a company called Impulse Energy Corp., to explore and drill for oil in the northern area of Iraq that’s home to Kurdish people. The deal marks the first production sharing contract for the area since the Kurdistan Parliament issued a new oil and gas law last month.
