Minor Earthquakes Shake Both Ends Of Bay Area
A pair of minor earthquakes shook different parts of the Bay Area early Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.1 struck at about 5:30 a.m. today in Santa Clara County.
According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of 3.9 miles and was centered 12 miles north of Morgan Hill and 12 miles east of San Jose City Hall.
Earlier, the USGS reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.2 struck at about 3:10 a.m. in Sonoma County.
