The New Improved Dayton Chess Club Website

Some of you may have noticed the Dayton Chess Club website has been down the last few days. The reason being is that we were updating our software and unfortunately it took longer than we were prepared for.

In the midst of the downtime as you have already noticed we updated the layout of the website as well. If you've noticed the scrolling features on the main page this is where you will see the highlighted stories or things that might interest you - the chess player. In doing so you'll be able to get to where you want to quicker and easier. From chatting with other chess players from around the globe in our forum to checking out the latest DCC events.

Let us not forget now the improved Dayton Chess Club store. In there you will be able to register for memberships from monthly to yearly after deciding what group (scholastic to elderly?) you belong in. The ultimate goal is to make your process at the Dayton Chess Club store more easier to find information and to protect you. This is why we use PayPal instead of having you use your credit card information here. PayPal has been proven to be reliable - safe - secure. We are working on developing step-by-steps for those new to PayPal which you will be able to find at the DCC Store.

Those that know about those fun software updates know that there are 'glitches' that can happen along the way. Sadly one of which all the users information has been lost. This has been devastating so we ask before you leave the site to register with us once more - it only takes 60 seconds.

We want to thank you for taking the time to support the Dayton Chess Club and look forward to chatting with each and everyone of you. We encourage those that are looking on information about chess who might be new to the sport to contact us. To those who are grandmasters we also want to hear from you as we are always eager to improve but can't do so without YOUR HELP.

As always God Bless.
