Action. As the story says you are the only surviving member of the Elite Special Forces and you are to find the secret underground lab that produces evil mechanical monsters. So go ahead and fight for justice! Our hero can go by foot as well as drive on a small jeep and even sail on a boat. It is much comfortable to move around on vehicles, since it goes faster and gives you cover. But still, you can not relax; as soon as you stop your .iron horse. transforms into a pile of scrap under drumfire of the enemy. However our hero stays safe and sound after such the catastrophe and can continue his noble mission for enemy destruction. When our soldier goes on foot, he earns double points for every killed enemy and can penetrate into places, which are difficult of access on vehicles. Luckily, our hero is well armed; the arsenal is not huge, but it lets suppress any enemy: mini gun can put down herds of kamikazes, flame-thrower can stop armoured division, and rockets can blow up clumsy bosses. All the weapons can be upgraded by finding and picking up special items. There are also grenades and nukes, but they are limited and you should use them wisely. You may run across entrance of underground bunkers; you.d better explore them because the lion.s share of various bonuses is located there.

Assault Heroes, unfortunately, looks is not as we may want; even on maximum resolution you see angles everywhere as well as fuzzy textures. Another problem is that enemy tanks look like machines for road works. As for environment, it is interactive, it means that trees and lampposts fall down after collision with your jeep, barrels with fuel blow up after your hit, mutilating the enemies that are nearby. Sometimes we can see small videos, mostly they depict big and fierce bosses, which look quite interesting. All in all, Assault Heroes is quite short action game (17 levels), which brings you several hours of intense shoot-them-all experience, cooperative game play with a friend and online high score list.
