Happy couples have affairs: research

Cheating is natural. If you don't cheat you're repressing your natural carnal emotions. According to jivelo.com , regardless how well we try to rationalise cheating behaviour, it will never disappear. Ofcourse we have to be responsible and accept the consequences of cheating but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

As swingers, we see plenty of happy, long-term couples who have sex with other people on a regular basis. They are much closer than most vanilla couples. Communication and total honesty are the keys to success in any relationship.

It's not cheating if both people know about it. And it's never the sex that is the problem - it's lying about the sex that causes the problems.

While I don't disagree that multiple partners works for some couples, I can't agree that it works for all. This type of article can quickly become propaganda for those who want to sling dirt at "vanilla" relationships.

Also, I can't say that "pretty happy" is a good label for marriages where affairs occur. Maybe it's just me, and I don't accept boredom well but I could never label a boring relationships as "pretty happy." That in itself is obviously an issue.

I only cheated when I was unhappy or angry with my husband. I'm not talking angry at him for a day, but for long periods of time. If I'm happy, the thought of fooling around makes me want to vomit.

Yes - Karma IS out there!! But, remember that sex and love are two different things. You can have sex for pure physical lust and not love. Of course, sex with someone you love and feel secure with is the greatest, but not everyone is lucky in that respect.

I have no problem doing married men. They often have affairs because their wives let themselves go, are uninterested in sex or are not willing to certain things that will make their man happy.

I know I`m happier.....And there is nothing like playing someone elses organ......Just wonderful!

I love my wife very much and sometimes I get the urge to cheat. I don't just run out and cheat I do use caution and I am very respectful of my time out. Bottom line it's my time or no time and alot of guys forget that when cheating. It's also better to cheat with someone that is cheating too. This way both of you have a understanding but cheating is not bad if your fulfilling a inner need or lust just play it safe and don't be careless, pleaseing your self and having respect for your mate or spouse at the same time is possible.

Actually he did! Hillary sat by his side and told the American people to keep out of their affairs.

That being said I have to disagree with the original premise that cheating is natural. Monogamy is every bit as much an orientation as gender preference. The readers who are oriented for monogamy will understand that. Almost any one who has passion for sexual psychology and have explored that passion by watching listening and thinking about how people interact will understand.

The irony that stands out to me is that the people who display patterns of jealousy are the ones who are not monogamous themselves even though they are pretending to be.

I have seen many swingers end up in divorce court for the same reasons that the people you refer to as "vanilla" do.

You are aware that there are more flavors to choose from for a healthy passionate sex life than just swinging?

It is impossible not to cheat, because there are way too many hot women with really big boobs out there today. We guys are popping boners at every corner!
