Can you spell 'depression'?

So these people that are "living high off the hog", were they doing crazy shit like going to a job, driving a car, buying groceries, getting healthcare and living in a house? What, do they think they're rockstars!! They're just a bunch of starving, street-living whiners. I hope them and their ungrateful kids get hit by a bus.  (Wednesday Jul 16 | post #4)

Dang. Just four words into the second sentence and I had to stop reading. "Hussein "? Really? Is that what you're leading with? Wow. Try to say something intelligent and maybe we can have a conversation.  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #59)

I like Hillary and would have voted for her. And I thought Bill was a great President. But Hillary DIDN'T have more votes. Most of what you say isn't true. But I doubt I can change your mind. Good day.  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #58)

Unfortunately we had plenty of racial divide before Obama came along. Just ignoring it wasn't making anything better. Obama is hopefully that guy in the middle that can start a meaningful dialog. Hell Jesse Jackson doesn't like him, so doesn't that make him the enemy of your enemy, and therefore your friend?  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #57)

See, those were meaningful comments that we can debate. As far as flip-flopping, I agree that Obama has flip-flopped on some issues. But from all the lists that I've seen, McCain is a MUCH bigger flip-flopper. As far as dividing the blacks and whites in this country, I think that happened simply because he's black. And what's funny is that many of the black leaders (like Jesse Jackson) actually are pissed at Obama for not being MORE black. So I think it's sad that a country is divided because of a person's skin. Heck, I feel more black than Obama acts, but it's all about looks. I'm not disagreeing that his being black is divisive in itself. But is the solution to only have white male presidents? Heck, if we were going to have a black president that racists accept, could we find anyone whiter than Obama? (I realize that my last statement is racist, but I'm trying to make a point that I hope came across.)  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #51)

BTW, I am proud of this country. I'm just not proud of people like you. Go ahead. Try to say something meaningful. Let's discuss the issues. Do you even know what the issues are?  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #48)

You refuse to get it. I certainly don't think Obama is a messiah. You can say it all you want, but that doesn't make it true. My point was that the neocon idiots focus on flag pins, Muslim schools, hating America, etc. They spend their time making up shit that is neither true nor relavent, and refuse to concentrate on economics, immigration, world stability, personal freedoms, etc. - things that really affect us. Why can't we debate the issues rather than argue about flag pins?!  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #47)

Do you realize how stupid you loons sound? Please, feel free to hate Obama because of his approach to economics, military, individual rights, whatever. But making up shit about how is is "mooslim ", hates America, will support terrorists, wants kids to learn Spanish to make it easier for illegal aliens - all that crap that you hear on Faux News - just makes you look STUPID. Yes, the cover of the magazine is satire. Nothing wrong with that. The problem is that you whackjob neocons don't realize it's satire. You actually believe it! I think I saw a poll that said 70% of this country actually believe there's some truth to the picture. WTF? Combine that with overhelming belief that evolution is a lie and religions that teach us to kill our enemies in order to go to heaven, and I believe that this country is full of idiots no better than the terrorists and "mooslims " that you hate so much. You people embarass me.  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #44)

Where can we get ethanol-free gas?

Correction/additio n to my last post: The Saab 9-X Biohybrid concept car claims to get 170 bhp with regular gas and 200 bhp with E85. I assume this also translates to an improvement in mileage. So, I'm just curious, but could someone explain the technical changes to go from current engines that perform poorly with ethanol to new engines that perform better? Is the change minor enough that we could make it to our current engines?  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #46)

Where can we get ethanol-free gas?

OK. There's been plenty of talk about how ethanol-free gas gets better mileage than E10 gas. But last night I was reading (in Road and Track, I think) that a new engine would get better mileage with ethanol gas than ethanol-free gas. In fact, they said E85 would get something like 25% better than ethanol-free gas. Are they talking about 85% ethanol?! Can someone explain that to me?  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #45)

You still don't get it. I wasn't ragging on you because you asked whether something was true. I was COMPLIMENTING you for asking that question! Most of the idiots on this forum don't care whether something is true or not. I was joking that if everyone on this forum cared whether something was true then there would be a lot less disagreement and fewer stupid/rude comments.  (Tuesday Jul 15 | post #378)
