A fire scorched 10 acres of brush near the 57 Freeway in Diamond Bar Saturday, and slowed traffic for hours as crews worked to douse the blaze, officials said.

A blaze has scorched at least five acres of brush just off the Orange Freeway along the Orange-Los Angeles county line, county fire officials said.

Twenty-two high school students from Chino Hills to San Dimas have been selected to serve as this year's Los Angeles County Fair Association Junior Fair Board members and begin internships throughout Fairplex.
