Barack Obama sets up internet 'war room' to fight slurs

T-Mobile sues Starbucks over AT&T Internet deal

Cash, I assume you know what NAT is? Since I post a lot from work - and I have a lot of work friends - it was one of them who posted the replies above. IP address is not a sufficient way to tell anything, as a real computer person could tell you. BTW, my personal blog has earned me invites to IDF and Demofall - I have also been published in the New York Times. I also have been contacted via Intel, AMD, as well as Flip Video and a bunch of other companies. That indicates I am considered a professional, particularly the New York Times story. I have over 10 emails in my inbox for people begging me to write stuff, or inviting me to conferences. You? And BTW, your argument means nothing, because you're not supposed to dupe stories, no matter what you think. Oh, and I know from a Topix contact, they consider blog stories as important as anything else. Oh, and not much coming from someone who used to kill his old stories and post them again so he could move them up. Speaking of a prankster.  (Saturday Jun 7 | post #7)

2008 Presidential Election

AP tally: Obama clinches Democratic nomination

The problem is there are plenty of racists out there. And plenty who simply don't read enough - or absorb enough - to know fact from fiction. For example, how many people believe he's a Muslim? A ridiculous number.  (Jun 3, 2008 | post #8)

Pet owners, makers of tainted food reach deal

It is true that 24 million is not really much. However, the companies that really need to pay are in China and not really within our reach. It does, of course, bring to mind what I have always said: you get what you pay for. We want cheap, cheap, cheap and to hell with the consequences.  (May 23, 2008 | post #2)

Crude prices soar past $127 a barrel

That's the problem. You DON'T know where he got the info. Too many Americans are clueless about Peak Oil. Do you believe oil is infinite? Last time I looked there were no NEW carboniferous plants being squeezed under billions of tons of pressure. The fact of the matter is, US oil production peaked in 1970, right when it was predicted. Based on that, we are in for serious shortages. http://en.wikipedi a.org/wiki/Peak_oi l  (May 16, 2008 | post #18)

Funerals - the Final Frontier: Casket Maker licenses Star Trek ...

Well, that's not necessarily a casket they will use. It's an example of what they might use. It's the photon torpedo / casket used for Spock in Star Trek II, as the article indicates.  (Sep 15, 2007 | post #4)
