Many Iraq war veterans with traumatic brain injury are not getting adequate health care and job assistance for their long-term recovery despite years of government pledges to do so, Veterans Affairs Department investigators say.
"Significant needs remain unmet," according to the report released Thursday by the VA's inspector general. It is the first to examine the Bush administration's long-term efforts in supporting veterans with traumatic brain injury, a leading problem among soldiers struck by roadside bombs that often causes lasting emotional and behavioral difficulties. VA trial concludes with contrasting views of vet care
A San Francisco judge hearing a trial on the quality of veterans' health care is questioning whether the entire case could be moot.
Only time can tell on what will happen on this case and it's a shame it has to go on year after year Veterans have to wait for Health Care and it's nothing new to the VA. Most of the waiting all started way back in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam war and thousands of troop came home to a long wait for *care and NO *Welcome home......
