Obama: Response to Iraq remarks overblown

Barack Obama said Saturday that he was surprised at how the media has "finely calibrated" his recent words on Iraq, and denied that he intends to anything but end the war if he is elected.

Above quote from newspaper article:

McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds responded in a statement: "Barack Obama has never spearheaded education reforms while in the U.S. Senate and has no record of working across the aisle for change.

But as the opponents are quick to point out, McBush spokesman, Obama has not had 30 years (read again THIRTY YEARS) in Washington NOT NOT NOT to do anything for education.

We have had 7 yrs of a "president" who wouldn't change his mind, and see where it's gotten us. "Stay the course" = "I can't think of anything else."

The neo-cons pushing McCain will pull any dirty tactic to keep their fingers in the till.

When Barack Obama says things, he expects people to go along with what he says. This is his modus operandi. He is a god and not one to be questioned. He likes to be right, but doesn't want to pay the price.

Should people then vote for Obama or McCain?

Are remarks made to statements by him overblown or are these people merely concerned with their future and questioning the validity of Barack Obama's statements?

It seems as if the next US President will be the anti-Christ and proving himself to be a god. People will follow, because he will create great signs to occur in the Heavens and he will preform great miracles. False miracles.

He will cause people to bow down to Satan and give worship and homage to idols and false worship. If you do not do as he says you will not be able to buy or sell. No one can stop Obama as he will be god-like and he will have the money and resources to control everything.

I truly hope that no one erases this posting. If the moderators do not have a good understanding of my words, they should allow this posting to stand.

My thanks in advance.

I am very uncomfortable with a president who, admittedly, has a large learning curve ahead of him. I don't feel wwe can afford too much OJT for presidents. Am I the only person concerned about this?

Obama's got my vote. We have to flush Republicans out of the White House, and put this country back on track. Bush needs to be put in front of a war-crimes court, and McCain won't do it.

McCain has demonstrated ignorance on the economy, Iraq, national security and his temperament scares his own Senate colleagues.
McCain Lies about saying no expertise on the economy
http://www.youtube.com/watch...
* McCain has changed his mind about a long-term U.S. military presence in Iraq on multiple occasions.
* McCain believes Americans are both better and worse off than they were before Bush took office.
* McCain believes his endorsement from radical televangelist John Hagee was both a good and bad idea.
* McCain’s first mortgage plan was premised on the notion that homeowners facing foreclosure shouldn’t be “rewarded” for acting “irresponsibly.” His second mortgage plan took largely the opposite position.
* McCain vowed, if elected, to balance the federal budget by the end of his first term. Soon after, he decided he would no longer even try to reach that goal.
* McCain’s campaign unveiled a Social Security policy that the senator would implement if elected, which did not include a Bush-like privatization scheme. In March 2008, McCain denounced his own campaign’s policy.
* In February 2008, McCain reversed course on prohibiting waterboarding.
* McCain was a co-sponsor of the DREAM Act, which would grant legal status to illegal immigrants’ kids who graduate from high school. Now he’s against it.
* On immigration policy in general, McCain announced in February 2008 that he would vote against his own legislation.
* McCain said before the war in Iraq,“We will win this conflict. We will win it easily.” Four years later, McCain said he knew all along that the war in Iraq war was “probably going to be long and hard and tough.”
* McCain went from saying he would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade to saying the exact opposite.
* McCain went from saying gay marriage should be allowed, to saying gay marriage shouldn’t be allowed.
* McCain criticized TV preacher Jerry Falwell as “an agent of intolerance” in 2002, but then decided to cozy up to the man who said Americans “deserved” the 9/11 attacks.
* McCain used to oppose Bush’s tax cuts for the very wealthy, but he reversed course in February.
As Josh Marshall recently noted,“McCain is absolutely gung-ho and certain that he’s right about whatever his position and ‘principles’ are at the given moment. But they change repeatedly.”

WOW, You Oboma lap dogs and PAID supporters are really going wild! Thank GOD Americans dont listen to your Anti American trash talking Liberal crap. All you clam that your from these American towns, Cities and states but your mostly from overseas. We have so called Americans on here calling for an American President to be charged with War crimes???? What a phony. YOU, should return back into the hole you crawled out from. NO American regardless of what the circumstances talks about American Presidents like that except you Anti American Liberal Socialist Oboma spams who have nothing better to do then to bash America.

Just remember this...The Republicans aren't the ones that need to be washed out of the White House.. It's all of you enemies that talk "code" when you say that we need to bring this country back on track.

Please tell me which track is that??? You mean the Track that got America Attacked because of the bleeding heart Liberal cowards that let Osoma get away twice!!! Just remember which administration let him go when the Saudis had him captured and wanted to extradite him. Just remember which Administration was told by covert ops that they have his location in the cross-hairs and the F16 was in the air ready for the go to take him and his pals out and were told no. Just remember who was getting that BJ when he said no. Just remember that little side track war on Yugoslavs to divert attention to his impeachment in 1999. Just remember who was in charge when the U.S.S.Cole was attacked killing 17 Sailors.

So, you want to get back on the right track!!! Sorry, that train derailed and if people vote for this loser Oboma without a doubt, 100% we we ain't seen noting yet.

So, I dont know about which track you think is right, but for the rest of Americans, that track was tested and now we need to clean up the mess, regardless of how bad your anti American media says it is.

We did not stand up and fight when they attacked the Cole! It made them braver! Those that think there is some "track to get back on" isn't seeing reality. The only way to kill a devil is to stand and defend! Liberals find a myriad of ways to do a lot of blabbing but when it comes time for them to defend themselves, they whine. This is a lot of what is going on now!... Truth be told, Colin Powell should have taken Sadaam out the first time we were in Iraq, this would all be over by now! Obama is inexperience, ideological, reverse racist, and no one in their right mind should vote for someone without wisdom. He has already demonstrated he has none. A great pontificator with a profound plethora of untested ideas. Quit listening to the oratory and start listening to the plan! It aint so good. Pulling out of Iraq =$12./gallon gas and the murder of millions of Iraqi's. Pullion out of Iraq means Iran moves in and then pushes Israel into the see. Obama has no vision of what is little boy antics can cause!

A vote for Obama will put us right on track for a Marksist/Leninist government plus he's going to us tax to death to pay for his global world view. After four years of Obama you'll be on your knees praying for the return on the republicans just like in the past.

This is typical Obama; anytime a question comes up about his decision making, he tells us it is not important and we should focus on the issues. Well, this is the issue.

It's impossible to have unbiased news, considering the companies who bring you the news, I'm afraid America has let evil corporations take control of its food sources, media outlets, Radio waves and most of your minds. I'm voting for Obama because at least he was against this illegal war from the start.
In 2002 He told the world what would happen, that there would be a civil war in this country and the world would learn to not trust America. This alone has made the security of this country and the world community a very very unsafe place to be.
Obama is a well respected person in the world community unlike McCain, The British are cringing over the fact that hes even running.Diplomacy is a far cry better then being ignorant, Like Bush and McCain.

Can't say I disagree about finding unbiased news nowadays. That is why it is so important to listen and read different perspectives and pay attention to what is going on around us to stay informed.

Can't say I agree with you on Obama though.
