Heather Locklear Treated For Anxiety, Depression

Actress Heather Locklear is undergoing treatment for anxiety and depression, her spokeswoman confirmed on Tuesday.

The 46-year-old blonde star, best known for her roles in the hit US television soap opera "Melrose Place" and sitcom "Spin City," is being evaluated at a facility in Arizona, Sarah Fuller said in an email to AFP.

"Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment," Fuller said. "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."
